Low  0-2 No danger to the average person.
Moderate 3-5 Little risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure.
High  6-7 High risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure.

Extreme 11+ Extreme risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure.

GLOSSARIO METEOROLOGICO
Humidex
è un indice di calore introdotto originariamente in Canada, ove è, ancora oggi largamente impiegato. è utilizzato per descrivere il disagio fisiologico che può verificarsi nelle giornate umide e calde. Tale indice è sensibile in un intervallo di temperatura compreso tra 20°C e 55°C. Al di fuori di tale intervallo, anche al variare dell'umidità relativa, l'indice individua sempre le classi estreme.
